Pigeon Reel (Modern Zoo)
Personal Project, 2022
For this project, my goal was to experiment with camera matching software, fSpy, to project realistic textures onto assets in the scene. Texturing this way allowed me to add a greater amount of realism to props for a fraction of the time it would normally take.

New Perspectives With fSpy
By finding control points in an image, fSpy approximates the parameters for the camera taking the target photo. These parameters are then be used by a 3D modeling software (Blender) to calibrate its own virtual camera. Using this virtual camera's view as reference helped me to recreate the environment in 3D to near-identical proportions. Having this accuracy also allowed for the image to be projected onto the 3D model, simulating all the details in the proper orientation.
